Concepts for a book cover redesign for Christopher Isherwood's A SINGLE MAN. I created this using an acrylic painting I did myself and added handdrawn font which I also did myself.
About the book: Set in Southern California during 1962, it depicts one day in the life of George, a middle-aged Englishman who is aprofessor at a Los Angeles university. The university in the book may be California State University of Los Angeles, where author, Christopher Isherwood was a professor for some time.
In 2009, the book was adapted into a film by fashion designer, Tom Ford, who chose Colin Firth as the protagonist of the film.
